Chilean beef comes from animals born and raised in a protected environment, in the tranquillity of natural pastureland with good-quality grass and crystal clear water, and optimal sanitary conditions.
According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), Chile is free from most of the notifiable diseases that affect livestock, including Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE).
The abattoir and processing industry uses international state-of-the-art technology to provide meat products of the highest quality and innocuity to the domestic and international markets.
In 2014, beef exports totalled US$ 54 million.

Colombia, Japan, Germany, South Korea and Cuba.
